“This poem was read to our group and our guide, Dominique Eudier, at our farewell dinner in Saint Malo” –October 2006

We met up in Normandy
     Eleven strong.
Strangers at first,
     Friends after long.
Honfleur was delightful
     With its fete of shrimp.
We climbed to a chapel
     With panting and limp.
Apples and cows and hedgerow scenes,
     Pate and butter and sausage terrines.
Calvados and cider and tart tatin,
     Bayeux cathedral and a tapestry span.
Omaha, Utah, Sword and Gold,
     The story of D Day must always be told.
Don't mourn their passing;
     Their spirit is lasting.
Quicksand and salt flat and slippery silt,
     Walked to a rock where a monastery was built.
Now, into Brittany,
     St. Malo appears.
We're talking France here,
     Not Brittany Spears.
Ramparts we walk;
     Galettes we eat.
Donkey and goats,
     A special treat.
Cliff walks and harbors and white crashing waves,
     Oysters and mussels and Romanesque naves.
We are in France;
     We lucky few.
We bid you thanks;
     We bid you adieu.

Dominique, we will always remember you
and hopefully this poem will remind you of us.

“Dominique,
wanted to let you know again
how much we enjoyed the trip!
The highlights for me was the walk to and visit
at Mont Saint Michel;
This was something that I had wanted
 to do since I was a teenager
and I am thrilled to have been able to do it.
Thanks for your excellent guiding of our little group. You have a great deal of knowledge and also the ability to relate it to others in a very interesting manner”
Pat & David Jernigan.

“Dominique,
we very much enjoyed our trip to Normandy.
Your region of France is very beautiful and serene. Your knowledge of the region, expert commentary and friendly smile made our days here a delight”. Ivan & Sheryl Kerr – Gohagan tour

“October 2006-
Our guide, Dominique, was absolutely first-rate,
one of the best I’ve ever traveled with;
extremely knowledgeable, plus a thoroughly lovely person who went out of her way to be helpful”. Claire Emory, Arlington, VA

“Dominique did everything possible to ensure that each one of us had a most wonderful trip”
Judy Jones- Annapolis, MD.

“Dominique Eudier did our tour guide of Normandy-a group of 8.
We found her to be very well informed, very charming, humorous and above all very warm and friendly.
We enjoyed her company and her expertise.
We will be back!”
John Mac Nally-(Irish Tour Operator)
