A Swiss couple with a great passion for art, Hedy and Arthur Hahnloser amassed an important collection of Nabi and Fauve paintings, which they acquired between 1906 and 1936. The couple also enjoyed an active correspondence with some of these artists (Félix Vallotton and Henri Manguin). After their deaths, their descendants decided to create the Hahnloser/Jaeggli Foundations, transforming the family home, the Villa Flora, into a museum (1995).

Wandering among these collections, visitors can discover works by Pierre Bonnard, Paul Cézanne, Vincent Van Gogh, Renoir, Manet, Albert Marquet and Henri Matisse. Around 80 works from this prestigious private collection are on show at the Marmottan Monet Museum. This is a rare opportunity to see these important, privately-owned paintings.
